Itinerary

Our itinerary is finally set, at least for the first few weeks.  It took me three days to put this together.  In some ways, the Internet is a hindrance rather than a help, because there are so many choices and contradictory reviews of places and campgrounds!  It takes awhile to sort through it all.  At any rate, here is our schedule for the first part of the trip:

We will bring the RV home and start packing on Friday, for a departure on Sunday, March 13.  The first day is a long drive, to Roanoke Springs just south of the southern border of Virginia, in North Carolina.  The next day we drive another six hours to somewhere north of Savannah, and the third day we arrive at Hilton Head Island, close to Savannah, where we will stay for a few days. 

Next stop is Blythe Island in Georgia, then St. Augustine in Florida, then a stop in Sarasota to visit a friend, and finally several days on Sanibel Island.

I think it is really going to happen!
