Killdeer

I promised a series of photos of the killdeer (Charadrius vociferus), so here they are:

 I should have had my good camera, but did not, of course.  These were taken with my iPhone.  You can see that I am looking down at her - she was right at my feet.  Isn't the apricot color of her rump beautiful?  I shouldn't have terrorized her so, but I was able to get a good view of her.
