Pelican Lake

On a whim, Lee and I decided to try one of the top "motor coach resorts" in the U.S., which happens to be located between Naples and Marco Island in Southwestern Florida.  Since it is expensive, we will only stay for a couple of days, a "once in a lifetime experience."  We arrived this afternoon, and here is what the place looks like:

Can you believe it?  These people take their traveling seriously!  All roads are paved, no dust.  All of the lots here are owned by individuals who stay for most of the winter. A few lots are for sale, but because of the real estate bust are selling for $100,000 less than they did three years ago.

 I love bougainvillea!
