Sanibel!

We arrived on Sanibel Island today!

I had a leisurely afternoon in the new surroundings.  Lee and I then went to the "Lazy Flamingo" for dinner - Caesar salad with Grouper, delicious!

Next, a stroll on the beach.  I had heard there were lots of shells on Sanibel, but this is ridiculous!  In one area, someone had dug down a foot before reaching the sand under a thick layer of shells:

And finally, we watched the sun disappear into the Gulf of Mexico:

Going....

Gone!

A perfect ending to a lovely day.  I think I like traveling this way!
