We have safely arrived on Hilton Head Island, at the same RV park in which we stayed a month and a half ago on the way down. Tomorrow, we are going to catch the ferry to Savannah. I am very much looking forward to it.
In the meantime, we have a dilemma. We are toying with the idea of heading back to Titusville to see the Endeavour space shuttle launch, now scheduled for next Monday. This means we will be home a week later than planned, but it is, after all, a "once in a lifetime experience", since it will be the Endeavour's last mission. It's okay to be home a week late, I suppose, except that the weeds may have taken over the house by then. But, what's a week? Terri, how does our house look?? Is it still visible from the street??
